- Information collected
- The Risk Intelligence Group ("Risk Intell Group") may collect customer contact information, the stated purpose of the request, the customer's relationship to the subject, information the customer asks the licensed agency to verify, subject identifiers supplied by the customer, transaction and consent records, security logs, report-delivery logs and communications relating to the service.
- How it is used
- We use this information to screen the requested purpose, route the case to the licensed agency, administer the service, process payment, format and securely deliver agency-approved findings, schedule the included findings review, prevent misuse and fraud, maintain transaction and security records, respond to correction requests and comply with legal and contractual obligations.
- Licensed agency
- Information necessary to evaluate or perform the investigative request is provided to the licensed Florida Class A agency fulfilling the assignment. The licensed agency controls the investigative methods, lawful source access and investigative findings.
- Service providers
- We use service providers for hosting/security, payment processing, communications and other infrastructure functions. They receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform the applicable service and are not authorized by Risk Intell Group to use investigative intake or report information for advertising.
- Advertising and analytics
- Google Analytics and Google Ads may be used on public marketing pages to measure page use and advertising results. Risk Intell Group does not intentionally send the contents of intake fields, subject identifiers, customer contact information or report contents to advertising or analytics systems. Microsoft Clarity may be used on public marketing pages to record how visitors move through those pages. Recording stops when an intake form is opened or started, intake fields are masked, and Risk Intell Group does not intentionally send intake contents, subject identifiers or customer contact information to it. Risk Intell Group also keeps its own record of how public marketing pages are used, and may place a cookie holding a random code so each visitor is counted once a day; the cookie expires at midnight Eastern Time, is not linked to a name or contact details, and is not sent to advertising or analytics systems.
- Sale / advertising use
- Risk Intell Group does not sell investigative intake information, subject information or report contents and does not use that information to build advertising audiences.
- Retention
- We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the service, security, dispute handling and applicable legal or contractual obligations. Investigative records maintained by the licensed agency are subject to the agency's legal and source-specific retention requirements. Proprietary-source information may be subject to shorter contractual retention or destruction requirements. If you start a request and do not finish it, we keep your contact details so we can follow up, and delete the details you entered about anyone else after 7 days.
- Security and breaches
- Risk Intell Group uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of information processed. No method of electronic storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure. Where applicable, we respond to security incidents and provide notices required by law.
